Sub main distribution board

What is final distribution board? An MDB is a panel or enclosure that houses the fuses, circuit breakers and ground leakage protection units. Rated operating voltage upto 690V.

Ample cabling space for easy connections. Top and bottom cable entry.

In both cases, modern boards handling supplies up to around 1A (CUs) or 2A (distribution boards) use circuit breakers and RCDs on DIN rail mountings. The board may be fitted with HRC fuses, MCB’s or MCCB’s. The main distribution board in an installation will also normally provide a main switch (known as an incomer ) which switches the phase and neutral lines for the whole supply. There will also be a classroom attached to this and a supply to a shower block.

The following circuits are required. A supply to a garage unit in a small office for lights and sockets. A typical SMDB is equipped with MCCB as incomer and MCCBs as a outgoings.

Further, all other intermediate as well as smaller products are also manufactured and designed with similar specifications. Upon completion of equipment installation and prior to carrying out test runs, the Contractor shall visually inspect the installation and satisfy that the equipment has been properly installed. GDS manufactures main distribution boards, sub main distribution boards, motor control centers, feeder pillars and street lighting panels and synchronizing panels.

FDB = Final Distribution Board The Distribution Board which provide electric supply to the Final and Sub Final Circuits is known as Final Distribution Board. These MCCBs wall mount with user friendly arrangements. The panel board is at the heart of such a system, whether acting as the main incoming board or as part of the sub distribution. Sub main distribution boards are also referred to as MCCB panels. The SMDB’s are fully designe developed and manufactured by Al Hamad Switchgear.

The MDB then feeds SMDBs which are installed midway through the power distribution system at a point where the large distribution cable terminates and several smaller sub -circuits begin. These switchboards are larger than a final distribution board circuit although they have similar construction process. Street Lighting Control Cabinet. Flange Connected Feeder.

A sub - main electrical circuit can be defined as a circuit connected directly from the main LV switchboard to a sub - main distribution panel or a rising main for final connection of the minor current-using equipment. Main Distribution Board. The Hager main switchboards offer is composed of a wide choice of references.

These products are developed and designed under the direction of competent personnel using topnotch basic material along with hi-tech machinery. Check for the location of installation is free of any water or construction debris. Electrical sub -boards ( distribution boards) A worker received an electric shock and suffered burnt fingers when he came in contact with exposed live busbars in a sub - board ( distribution board or switchboard). The sub - board did not have enough pole fillers to cover all live points on the board. In the case of a sub-distribution boar be labeled as “sub-main switch” or “main switch” if the board is labeled “sub-board”.

In the case where an alternative supply is installed (emergency supply, uninterruptible power systems (UPS), etc. Distribution substation is connected to a sub -transmission system via at least one supply line, which is often called a primary feeder. However, it is typical for a distribution substation to be supplied by two or more supply lines to increase reliability of the power supply in case one supply line is disconnected.
